You've been gaming too long when...
...the discovery of 11x17 graph paper makes you giddy.

Think of possiblities! No more taping sheets together!

If that post didn't make sense to you, you're not alone.

If it did make sense, then I'm sorry, but I will loan you a sheet.

A a fellow gamer, I completely understand. The sight of a blank piece of graph paper brings back so many memories. I can almost see the first dungeon I created 20-some years ago. A whole page of paper filled with a creation that defied logic and may actually have inadvertently included some of that non-Euclidean geometry that Lovecraft's always on about.

Yeah, umm...so I love graph paper.

Loan away. :)

Although, I have to ask - what color are the gridlines? I'm always buying pads that either have red gridlines or blue gridlines - and I swear, the better dungeons are always the ones where I'm using graph paper with blue gridlines ...

I understand, I understand! I just found a box yesterday with taped-together pages for places where my imagination had exceeded 8.5x11 inches.

So... Where exactly did you discover this treasure?

I firmly agree with Mike. Dungeons were meant to be drawn on blue lined graph paper, preferably with a nice #2 pencil.

Cass,

Local neighborhood Staples. I’m sure this must have existed before, but it is the first time I’ve seen it.

Brad,

Amen. Preach it. I just turned in a project for DA’s Blackmoor and part of it was on black hex sheets. Funny how hard that it to read when compared to blue lines.

Heh. Anyone know where to get blue-lined hex sheets?

Hey Harley. Still haven't heard back from White Wolf on my email. Curiously though...I noticed a couple people asked about the novel contest, in the comments of the lastest white wolf live journal post, and were soon thereafter errased.

Woops. That last post was by me...

J,

Thanks for the WW update. Nothing on my end either. I'm tempted to call their offices, but my behavior is starting to resemble that of a desperate ex-boyfriend.

"I'll call WW until they return my calls."

Bleagh.
